All areas of advanced laparoscopic surgery including minimally invasive procedures of the chest, esophagus and stomach including anti-heartburn, achalasia, esophageal malignancies; solid organ surgery (liver resection, adrenal gland removal, splenectomy and nephrectomy); small and large intestine surgery for benign and malignant diseases, spine-exposure surgery, and weight-loss (bariatric) surgery.

Dr. Waldrep has performed more than 1,700 bypass and banding weight loss surgeries. Currently, Dr. Waldrep is Medical Director for Bariatric Services at Sutter Roseville Medical Center. In addition to his practice, he is also a national instructor of advanced laparoscopic and weight loss surgery.

Dr. Waldrep trained in surgery at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, and was appointed Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at USC, Division of Minimally Invasive Surgery. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Surgery, a fellow of the American College of Sugeons and member of California Bariatric Surgery Policy Workgroup.
