Sutter Health extends the reach of its leading Sutter Cancer Center to Roseville to offer the latest treatments in a serene, local setting. The center has met the most stringent standards of accreditation by the American College of Surgeons to ensure patients receive the highest standards of care. Inpatient services are offered from a dedicated 24-bed unit staffed by more than 60 professionals. More than 75 percent of the unit's nursing staff are certified by the national Oncology Nursing Society.

Most cancer care is provided on an outpatient basis, with patients working directly with their physician team and the appropriate department.

Additional features of the program include:
  • An Outpatient Infusion Center, where chemotherapy and blood products are administered
  • A Breast Health Center providing the full range of care from screening through treatment
  • Prostate seed therapy
  • A nationally recognized nuclear medicine department
  • State-of-the-art linear accelerator sited here by Radiological Associates of Sacramento and providing Sutter Roseville patients with one of the most sophisticated radiation oncology programs in the Sacramento region
  • Access to physicians in the fields on oncology, hematology and radiation oncology, as well as related specialties of general surgery, urology, neurology, pulmonology, gastroenterology, orthopedic surgery and gynecology
  • Affiliation with the Sutter Cancer Center, Sacramento with additional high-level services including Gamma Knife for noninvasive brain tumor treatment
