The cardiac catheterization/vascular lab at Sutter Roseville Medical Center is a special­ized lab that provides advanced equipment and techniques to detect blood vessel blockages that could cause heart attacks, strokes and poor blood flow to the extremities. By using the latest technology our cardiologists and vascular sur­geons can evaluate the chambers of the heart, arteries and blood flow, and are able to reveal any abnormalities in the structure of your heart or vessels.  Angioplasty and stenting can also be performed to open blocked arteries.

• Diagnostic cardiac catheterization testing for coronary artery disease (CAD), aortic and mitral valve disease, cardiomyopathy and heart failure (CHF)
• Coronary artery angioplasty and stenting
• Pacemaker, internal cardiac defibrillator, and cardiac resynchronization therapy im­plantation and generator (battery) change
• Electrical cardioversion to correct atrial fibrillation
• Tilt table test
• Peripheral vascular imaging with angioplasty and stenting of leg, arm and kidney arteries
