Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
Sutter Roseville Medical Center
Traditional MRI units surround patients with a magnetic field inside a narrow tunnel to create detailed images of soft tissue and organs. Though very effective, the closed-in feeling is difficult for many patients, especially those who are larger than average. Sutter Roseville Medical Center offers an open-bore unit that accommodates all patients and eliminates claustrophobic feelings, while providing exceptional image detail.
