Our Sutter Transitional and Respiratory Service or STARS Unit is a 30-bed unit, open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and is fully staffed with Registered Nurses, Licensed Vocational Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants at all times.
We specialize in providing long-term care for mechanical ventilated pateints and oxygen dependent, trached patients. The most frequent diagnoses are COPD, Anoxic Encephalopathy and status post brain trauma.
